Tonight I’m kicking off my birthday weekend by seeing one of my favorite New Orleans bands, Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk, at my favorite club in San Francisco. Let me guess, you do. Me too! Regardless of how much we love our work, it’s so important to take time off, get away, unplug, unwind, relax, rejuvenate and enjoy whatever it is that our hearts desire. Interestingly, I recently read a study about people who left their job to start theirown business. Adam and I just returned from a week in Hawaii. He was there for work so I decided to join him (not a tough decision). I have to say, I really like having a husband who travels to Hawaii for work and feel very fortunate that I have the ability and flexibility to join him. While Adam was working on Oahu, I spent a few days on the Big Island with my dear friend Summer.
